Run for Dunn is a 2-mile fundraising run organized by the members of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Clemson University for one of our brothers, Marshall Dunn, who was recently diagnosed with autoimmune Encephalitis — a rare autoimmune condition that has forced him to withdrawal from school and has caused him to have to be put through intense rehab.

Marshall joined the fraternity in the spring of 2024 as part of the Eta class and hit the ground running. He took on the Philanthropy Chair role that fall, and the following spring was chosen to lead New Member Development, where he helped bring in and initiate 64 new members over the course of the year. He gave a lot to this chapter, and this event is our way of giving back. He is one of the most well rounded individuals the fraternity has seen. He is always there for people when they are in need. Now it is our chance to be there for him.

The race is on Saturday, April 11th starting at 10 AM, starting and finishing at the Pike house at 317 Old Greenville Highway. Check in for the run starts at 9 AM.The route goes along Old Greenville Highway, Tiger Boulevard, and Anderson Highway, a 2-mile loop right through Clemson. After the race we’ll have a post-run celebration with live music and food vendors.

All proceeds go directly to the Dunn family to help cover the cost of rehabilitation, speech therapy, psychological treatment, and travel — expenses that add up quickly and go well beyond what insurance covers.
Tickets for the Run for Dunn are just $10 each
This covers your spot in the 2 mile run + entry to the post-run celebration with live music and food vendors
Here’s exactly how it works:
We’ll be promoting the event through Instagram and digital flyers sent out across the Clemson community. Sponsors will be highlighted in our post event wrap up, on event banners, and on the back of the official Run for Dunn t-shirts.
